Roskanda Ilincic - Pre Spring/Summer 2012

Roskanda Ilincic- Pre Spring/Summer 2012

I know its no where near summer of 2012 but this cheeky number had to be blogged about now.

Yuuuuuuuuuum! these are lush Roskanda described this collection as 24-7 wardrobe of a woman, how it goes from fun little plaid shorts through to different styles of dresses and ending in her signature elegant, long, dramatic gowns.

The colours fit so well together, the fresh greens and tangerine oranges go so well with the dark navys and blacks.

Moncler Gamme Rouge (ready-to-wear) Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Moncler Gamme Rough- Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Okay fair enough some of this is pretty impractical but to be honest i actually like this collection, the simplicity of the duffel coats, subtle leopard print or plain black leggings teamed with some classic doc's or killer 6 inch heals amazes me.

The main colour pallet for this is obviously black but there are some grey charcoal colours and a few metallic blues and crisp whites to be seen also.

Christian Dior Couture - Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Christian Dior Haute Couture for Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Dior didn't get too good reviews for this, i personally quite like some of the pieces and the detail on some are beautiful .
Obviously the presence of Galliano is very much not here which is a shame because he is easily one of my favorite designers and this collection is very spring/summer not very autumn/winter.

The colours vary, from pastel pleated chiffons and extravagant prints to its vivid colourful cape like dresses.

Givenchy Couture - Autumn/Winter 2011- 12

Givenchy Haute Couture for Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Woah.

This is amazing, you would imagine some , if not all of these pieces to be heavy but i have read they're actually incredibly light! the lightest of his couture collections yet in-fact which makes them even more mesmerising .
Everything is encrusted , beaded and fringed to look almost angel like.

The colour pallet is simple, ice white and some fawn here and there all very very neutral colours.

Gucci - Autumn/Winter 2011-12

Gucci 2011-12

Wow, apologies in advance but there are so many i want to post from this collection it is AMAZING. Easily one of my favorites for this season coming.

The palette of colour was a rich, mix of peacock blue, teal, burgundy, rust and petrol green. With a splash of the highest quality bulging furs, and the finest, most supple thin leathers.

My favorites of this collection have to be the chiffon gowns with masses of fabric flowing behind the model that are split up to the waist to showcase the shortest , most fitted matching hotpants.

Good news!

My new project for the fashion show is Japanese armor meets Vivienne Westwood.

I'm going to try and not go down the typical route when it comes to Westwood such as tartan and bold lettering, I'm trying a different tactic. I already have an idea as of what I'm going to do i am starting a sketch book this week so ill pop up some pictures of a few of my designs.

Just about to crack on with a few more looks and updated posts on the trends and newest models to catch my eye!

keep checking back
xoxo
